Beautiful set in lovely peaceful surroundings, staff are exceptionally helpful & welcoming. Room was large ,spotlessly clean, the bed was large, so comfortable 😴 Food was excellent 👌 Everything you could hope for in a hotel.... 11 out of 10
I've stayed at the Lismoyne quite a few times now and always had a good experience. The staff are lovely and exceptionally helpful. The food is good and beds are comfortable. Free Wi-Fi which works well. Some reviews mention it looks old-fashioned but I like that, it looks historical and it has character and a much nicer atmosphere than a chain. Also a good location and very reasonably priced for the area
Old hotel. A bit run-down and archaic check-in. Couldn't check in until 2pm, although the room is empty and ready at 1pm. For context, the funeral service began at 3.30pm. Asked for 2 single beds and got a double. Ended up sharing a bed with my 18 year old nephew. Concierge want giving an inch although we had 5 guests and a wake to be held later and copious of money spent in bar. Very short-sighted. Would not recommend.
