This hotel is fun, not staid like so many in Japan. It's also a great location, easy to get around to multiple places. The rooms are small but designed really well and after staying somewhere with super hard beds, this bed is bliss. They have a great Japanese breakfast and a sweet bar with free beer, highballs and lemon sours from 5:30-6:30pm. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely love this hotel from top to bottom. The bar is fantastic. Bartender Kaia is great and the drinks are seriously good. The bar has a great atmosphere and music selection is fantastic. Also, I recommend the Gorgonzola and Apple pizza!
Rooms are big for Japan standards. Location is 5 Stars for me because I don't mind quiet and less crowdy areas. Downside is breakfast. I don't understand that they have or offer the same breakfast set every day. Yes every day. Not to your liking if you are not really Japanese, worth a try on your first breakfast but seeing and eating the same even just on your 3rd day becomes too much of a challenge. Hope they can realize and change this part of their offering.
