The Llawnroc

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, even if it was only for one night! The host was super friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and the view and size of the room was a pleasant surprise. The bath was huge! The place itself was self catering with a communal area, games room (pool table and board games). Everyone was friendly. The location was great, right near the beach, however we found there wasn’t much in terms of restaurants nearby so we had to drive to that which was only around a 10 min drive to the next town, which was fine in the end because it was really lovely. Overall, very pleased with our stay!!

A relaxed and self service guest house with clean & tidy room and comfy beds. Maria was a wonderful host and a friendly person.On my first day of I was able to make a light snack using the mini combo oven on site. Maria also recommended me amazing place for walks like dodman point and tourist attraction places like, The lost gardens of Heligan. The location consists breathtaking views. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a wonderful holiday.

Awful experience Filthy dirty kitchen, with mess everywhere over the dishwasher, surfaces, dirty nappies in the bin which was full and stank This made me feel so ill I could not prepare any food in here, it was so unhygienic Room had no drink facilities, not even a glass TV control was broke, with badly corroded batteries, so I couldn’t watch tv Shower control was broken and could not be adjusted so was very hot and hurt your skin Muck was on the ledge below bedroom window, it stank and had seagulls standing and eating in it No one to check us in, just a text the day before saying no one will be there and instructions were sent on how to get in I did not know where anything was, I had to find my own room and find where the key had been left, and find where the kitchen and other facilities were I left very early the next day as I couldn’t stand being somewhere so unclean. I complained to the owners only to be sent very rude and unhelpful replies, one was shockingly rude I was told I would not get a refund I have now seen others have had a bad experience here too I wish I checked the reviews before I booked This ruined my weekend away
