We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge at Gulf State Park, Hilton in Gulf Shores! Our family of three (two adults and one child) stayed in a Gulf-side room with a king bed, bunk beds, and a balcony — clean, modern, and super comfortable, with just minor signs of wear. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Since we booked through a travel advisor, we were greeted with a delightful welcome gift: a fruit platter, bottle of Chardonnay, chocolate chip cookies, and milk — such a thoughtful surprise! The infinity pool was a hit, and the short walk to the beach made everything easy. We loved the view, and appreciated that other guests left behind boogie boards and pool noodles for others to enjoy — a nice touch! Our stay included a $50 credit we could use at the hotel’s restaurants or convenience store. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with tons of fresh, tasty options. We also enjoyed the coffee shop, bar, and free bike rentals on site. The entire experience was relaxing and family-friendly. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend this spot for a beach getaway!

5-Star Experience! Our stay at this luxury hotel was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking views made every moment feel like a dream vacation. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. There were plenty of nearby activities, including scenic trails that felt both adventurous and safe. One of the highlights of our trip was the hotel restaurant—the food was absolutely delicious, offering a perfect blend of flavor and presentation. A special thank you to the amazing staff at the Foodctaft: Sterling, April, Heather, Tiffany and Jeff. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The hostess was equally kind and accommodating, making each dining experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and outstanding service!

I won't be wasting my time or money on this place. I hesitate to spend a bundle on a room to sleep in, sorry. I don't sleep too well knowing I'm being ripped off. Is it nice? I suppose. Is the area worth exploring? Perhaps. Is it worth unloading my wallet? Uh, no. Resorts are for people who have no desire for value. I'd much rather pitch a tent in an idyllic spot or even sleep in my car somewhere and spend my money where it counts...on the actual vacation...not the lodging, since I'm not there to be pampered in some swanky suite. I'm there to actually experience my surroundings.
