The Loft

This place was amazing to stay at. 10/10 would stay again The view is phenomenonal Location: perfect - close to the national park entrance and the shops Service team were great. The hair-dryer died and they replaced it the same day. Also one of the locks was dodgy so their repair guy came immediately to sort it. If I could buy this house I would! Extras - bath tub with a view - smart TV - fireplace with heaps of wood - boardgames and cards and DVDs - WiFi - plunger coffee, tea and pods

The Loft, what can I say, do yourself a favour and scroll on to the next property available. The place is dirty, from stools at the breakfast bar to the chairs at the dining table, they all have reminants of food and built up dirt. Mold under the window in the main bedroom, half of the curtains hanging down as they are broken. The edges of the windows around the whole main area have built up dirt with skeletons of flys just to highlight how long since they have been cleaned. The seals in the showers are yellow from soap build up and don't look on top of anything cause the dust build up is years old with many more fly skeletons to prove that this place is proving maximum income to the real estate for minimum customer service. This company hold the monopoly of holiday stays in the area of Coles Bay, so feels very much like they are going for quantity over quality. We did contact the agent with photos and they offered to come in and rectify some of our issues but with the sheer amount of filth we didn't want cleaners in while we were trying to enjoy our family time together. When asking for some kind of refund we were refused as they had offered to come and clean while we were enjoying our holiday. The house should have been cleaned to a good standard before we arrived like every other Airbnb we've had the pleasure to stay in. This place was the most expensive of our trip and the most disappointing. I foresee a politicians reply to this review, just like we got when we made the complaints. This agency is great at dancing around the issue to make it feel like it's your problem and not there's.

Great view. Ordinary stay for price though. Terrible bed - completely sagged. Firewood was wet and to big. Expected us to clean everything before we left. (I don't clean when I pay $500 a night for ordinary accommodation)
