The Lokha Ubud

Such a great place to stay! So glad that we booked a room for our stay in Ubud. All of the staff was very friendly. Massages were wonderful. The rooms were also really great. Not sure why people are complaining about anything with the lokha. If you come to a forest/mountain area and complain of having bugs here and there, and I think you might need to reconsider where you’re vacationing. Bugs are part of nature. We did not have any bugs in our room, and everything was clean and up to par. Breakfast was very good, and I loved the little snacks they have in the lobby in the afternoon. The shuttle was a great thing to use when needing to get to town. I will definitely be booking here again if and when we come back to Bali. I stayed here for 2 nights and it made such a big impression on me. I arrived around 6 p.m. with nowhere to stay after getting scammed by a villa, and I had to walk here because there were no cars in the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming — I felt genuinely taken care of. The rooms are beautifully designed with amazing jungle views — peaceful, cute, and just really well done. The pool is also gorgeous, and the whole space has such a calm, intentional vibe. What really stood out, though, was the staff. I've been in Bali for almost 3 months, and this was some of the best service I've experienced. They truly go above and beyond — pulling out your chair, placing a napkin on your lap, and even bringing me food to feed the koi fish when they saw me staring at them. It was such a thoughtful little moment that made me feel so cared for. The only thing I’d note is that the breakfast buffet felt like a 4 out of 5. I had an omelet and toast, which was totally enough and I felt full — but the overall spread was a bit limited. Still good, just not as much of a wow factor. I also loved that they have a shuttle into the city center and cars available if you need to go anywhere. Overall, just a really comforting, high-quality stay. I’d absolutely come back.

I recently stayed at The Lokha Ubud Resort, and it was actually a really nice experience. I just picked it for a quick trip to Ubud, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The place itself is quite lovely. It's set among the rice fields, which gives it a pretty calm vibe, and it overlooks a river. It feels tucked away, but getting into central Ubud is quite convenient with their free shuttle. So you get a good balance of peace and accessibility. Our villa was comfortable and spacious. It had that nice Balinese design, and most importantly, it was very clean. The view from there was also great. Having a private pool was a definite plus for unwinding after a day out. They clearly put thought into the room amenities. One thing that really stood out was the staff—they were all genuinely friendly. They were always smiling and really helpful with everything. Their Balinese hospitality made a good impression. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, covering both local and Western options. And spending some time by the main infinity pool, taking in the green surroundings, was pretty relaxing. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable stay in Ubud with nice views and good service, The Lokha Ubud Resort is worth considering. I had a pleasant time there."
