Spent a night here for my birthday and I had a lovely time! Staff were really pleasant, helpful and accommodating from the onset which continued throughout my stay. I visited The Retreat and had a 60min full body massage by Tahira which was amazing! The spa was not overcrowded and the facilities were great. I would recommend booking a cabana for that extra bit of relaxation! The in-room dining service was excellent. No long wait times and all the food (dinner and breakfast) were hot on arrival. The blueberry pancakes were top tier! No complaints whatsoever - this is a true 5* star hotel and all the amenities and features represent that! I’d also add that there are perks for the hotel guests which include complimentary drinks and snacks at The Residence - this is also a wonderful touch. Highly recommend and thank you very much for my room upgrade and drinks vouchers for my special day. Can’t wait to return!
The Londoner is the best hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. I want to thank the staff for being fantastic hosts to myself, wife, and baby girl. Unfortunately, today, 4 / 5 star hotel classifications mean little. It’s difficult to know what you will be getting. So, if you are wondering, then have no doubts that The Londoner is a 5 star hotel. The attention to detail in its design and service was exceptional. So much so, I feel committed. When I visit London again, it’ll have to be the Londoner for me.
A wonderful stay overall and excellent value for money. The hotel is in a very central and bustling area, which is great if you enjoy the energy, though some might find it a bit much. Inside, it’s a haven of calm with lovely service throughout. We booked a King Deluxe with a city view but were given a second-floor room facing part of the square and a nearby building. Not quite the “city view” promised, and it’s unclear why it’s priced higher. There were also two occasions when we had to request room cleaning after returning in the afternoon from exploring the area. Morning cleaning is usually standard, so having to ask felt a bit odd. On the other hand, the hotel offers an additional evening refresh with new towels and linen, which was a lovely touch. A staff member came in daily to check the minibar, which could easily be done during room cleaning rather than disturbing guests. That said, everything else was spot on. I didn’t use the spa or pool, but my partner did and said they were absolutely brilliant.
