Great location and spotless stay! The hotel is in a perfect spot—everything is within walking distance, and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The biggest highlight was the housekeeping team; they did an amazing job keeping everything exceptionally clean. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't call it a 5 star experience. Service is a hit and miss... for example in the restaurant...the male waiters were very attentive. The food was okay for breakfast...the kitchen had a hard time cooking potatoes. We were originally booked in a room that supposedly can accomodate 3 people it had a balcony...unless you are traveling as a couple who are minimalist and don't care about the a/c working ...go ahead and book that...none of the rooms on the 2nd floor had their ac working. We upgraded ourselves to a suite...its like night and day. It fits 3 people comfortably. The gym is at the Carlton....its a nice gym. The pool is also at the Carlton. Would I book again...maybe...the front desk are amazing...boyan, Jaiden and a few others...Mikaela at the restaurant was amazing too.

I had an unfortunate encounter with Jumeirah staff at Parkers, which is joined onto it. We asked the Parkers team for somewhere to pray, and they directed us to a quiet corner of the restaurant to pray in which was infront of a private door, but apart from that in no ones way. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so we didnt bother anyone. After we took a grand total of two minutes to pray, two men in suits, who thought they were more important than they are, came out and rudely said 'you can't pray here' and next time we use the 'Pakistani mosque two minutes from here'. Someone should educate them firstly that Pakistani and Muslim are not the same thing and any race can use a mosque! Secondly, we didn't walk into a pub and ask for a place to pray, we walked into a place owned by Muslim's, which had Sheikh Rashid's face plastered everywhere. Again they were Jumeirah staff, not Parker's. I don't know if us being Pakistani was the issue, judging by their ignorant Pakistani mosque comment. Maybe if we walked in looking like Harrods threw up on us we would have been treated with more respect!
