The Luce St. Pete Beach a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay- and the upgrade to a ground level Garden View was a nice way to start! Had my two teenage daughters with me and we had a very nice stay. We will be returning again. Only complaint with the amenities would have to be the “fitness room“. It was terrible and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. There was sand all over the floor, and hardly any equipment. The dumbbell weights were all over the place and there didn’t seem to be full set of them. My daughters wanted to use it But after I checked it out ahead of time I didn’t want them to because of the condition it was in. Other than that we had a great stay and were nicely surprised and very impressed by the place. I understand that some renovations are going to be done soon. The bathroom shower definitely could use one, the tile was cracked and shampoo dispenser broken. Plan to go back in the future. But I have a feeling one of the reasons it was so enjoyable it was because it was a slow week, The weekdays after the Fourth of July weekend, and not too many people were there! The restaurant and beach employees inside and out were excellent, They were friendly and helpful. Summer greeted us on the beach our first day and she could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

The rooms at this hotel do not look like they do on the website. None of the decor shown on the website is in any of the rooms. The rooms have all been painted white and the dressers and doors are old and cracked. However, the Lobby, the pool area and the service at this hotel are all awesome and beautiful. The waitresses at the pool were awesome and attentive! We loved the little Ice Cream remote truck they brought around. The view of the beach from the bar is wonderful! They had music all weekend and it was fun! Due to the room itself not being as advertised, I was provided a small refund for one night of resort fees. I would stay here again.

Had a great day at St.Pete’s Beach until our daughter sprained her ankle. We had lunch and drinks at Coconut Charlie’s which we can’t recommend enough!! The waitress suggested going through the Postcard Inn and asked if we could bring our vehicle closer to pick her up. She said they should be able to give us the code to accommodate our needs. We presented our situation to the man who was working at the front desk who stated he couldn’t help and was totally rude!! My husband, who told him he was retired law enforcement, said he would leave his credentials until we picked up our daughter. The man just walked away!! Why is it so hard to find people with empathy or willing to put a little effort into caring about people anymore. Unfortunately, we thought about meeting family at the Postcard Inn for our daughter’s Fall graduation from nursing school but we will not be recommending or staying at this location!!
