The Luxton Bandung

I loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area and gym facility. I will recommend others for sure! I had a wonderful experience at the The Luxton Hotel . The premium amenities with spa and wellness facilities offered us an excellent experience.

The room is big and clean, and the location is also great. However, the breakfast tastes average or below. We ended up ordering Indomie because there was nothing we could eat. Moreover, the pool is packed with children who are taking a private swimming class. This is the main thing that I hate because this is the first time we have gone to the hotel, and non-guests are allowed to take swimming class. I can see that other parents who are hotel guests are unhappy and cannot enjoy the pool. This is our first time staying at the Luxton Bandung, and we will not be coming here again. Traveling with a toddler makes breakfast and the pool really important for us, and I believe other parents will feel the same way.

I used to visit this hotel when it first opened 12-13 years ago, and back then, it seems like it was a fantastic place to stay—modern, clean, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, after returning recently, I was quite disappointed. The hotel now feels old and outdated, with visible wear and tear in the rooms and common areas. The once-great customer service has also deteriorated; check-in was slow, and staff responsiveness was lacking. It’s clear that maintenance and service are no longer a priority here. With so many newly opened hotels offering better facilities at more competitive prices, I can’t really recommend staying here anymore. It’s a shame to see how much this place has declined over the years. Would I return? Probably not. There are simply better options out there now.
