The Lychgate

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was full of little extras that made the stay even better - the homemade slice of cake in the room really was special! Didn't get time to have a hot breakfast but the takeaway box was full of different bits and really helpful for people leaving early due to work! The pub across the road was also really nice. Well worth a stay

Had an amazing stay here, from the moment you arrive you feel so welcomed. Rooms were homely and decorated lovely. The beds were so comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Everything was pristine and incredibly clean. Breakfast was also amazing! Very generous with the portions and constantly asked if you need anything else. Great location, pub opposite was very convenient and not far from the train station. Can’t wait to visit again!

A beautiful stay a Lychgate, next to Caldicot castle and town. We had a lovely stay at the Lychgate guest house, it was a well earned rest from the Wales coastal path. It's in a great location, you walk off the path, through Caldicot Castle and it's there. A good pub opposite. We also walked the short stroll into the centre for something to eat and the local supermarket. The room is beautifully decorated and has everything you need, tea, coffee, biscuits , cake , kettle , hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of lovely little touches like the pillow spray and eye mask by the bed. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back x
