The Lynden Grove Hotel

Nice boutique hotel in old English style. Generously sized rooms with all the amenities you would need. Short walk to everything you need in town. Didn't have breakfast or eat at the hotel. We had high tea at the Grand Hotel which was super close. Perfect for our one night stay.

Lyndon Grove was an absolute gem right in the middle of the city – so convenient for everything we wanted to do. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Khalid’s warm hospitality made us feel like family. A heartfelt thank you to Sajith, Bimsara, Ijaz, and Gnanasekaram – at the dining area, they knew exactly what we wanted even before we asked, and attended to our needs so quickly and graciously. The food here is 100% halal, and we have to give a huge shout-out to Chef Nazim – his cooking was hands down the best we had during our entire vacation. Every dish was made with love, and it truly showed. Wishing him the very best of health always. Thank you to everyone at Lyndon Grove for making us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Lynden Grove in Nuwara Eliya during the second part of our family trip, and it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotel has a calm, elegant atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and well kept interiors that instantly make you feel at ease. Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy perfect for a peaceful night’s rest after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room setup, cleanliness, and comfort was very impressive. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly and with care. The food was another highlight. Every meal we had was fresh, tasty, and well-presented. The chefs and staff clearly put thought into the preparation and quality of the dishes. It was a treat for both the adults and the kids even our little ones enjoyed the food, which is a big win for us as parents! Overall, The Lynden Grove exceeded our expectations. It’s a wonderful place for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. We truly appreciated the calm ambiance, the genuine hospitality, and the great service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
