What a lovely, peaceful and friendly family run hotel!! It was our first visit to Kefalonia and it was fantastic! The hotel is beautiful, fabulous setting with the hills surrounding it. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The gardens and pool areas are so well kept. The outside bar is a great area for drinks and lunchtime foods. They have great cocktails too!! The family and staff cannot do enough for you, very friendly and chatty, giving you lots of info on the surrounding area. A very peaceful hotel, very relaxing and perfect for couples and slightly older folk!! We will be returning again next year!
We have just returned from a wonderful 11 nights at the Magnolia for our honeymoon. The hotel staff and management were wonderful - nothing was too much and everyone was so friendly. Rooms spacious, regularly cleaned, more than comfortable. Pool and bar areas lovely too. A short walk to Katelios’ bars and tavernas. Would recommend and will return.
A Hidden Gem in Kefalonia – Truly Memorable Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel in Kefalonia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile – nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, and the entire property is clearly cared for with love and pride. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast – delicious, fresh, and served in a peaceful setting overlooking the pool. It was the perfect way to start each day. Another bonus was the car hire service available directly at the hotel. It was great value and made exploring the island incredibly easy and convenient. The surroundings are serene and beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful getaway with wonderful service and a personal touch. We can’t wait to return!
