The Majestic Malacca

The hotel looked very nice on the outside and once you entered, the lovely staff was there to help you. The doors were opened for you and the staff took over the luggage. We first enjoyed our welcome tea with local biscuits. The rooms were very spacious and had everything you need. The food at the restaurant was very good and for breakfast there were many options you could choose from.

When I chose the hotel, I had a lot of doubts—wondering whether it would truly match the price or live up to the high ratings. But once I arrived, all of that changed. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole place had a positive and welcoming vibe. My room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The food was also a highlight—delicious, with the flexibility to order what you wanted. One suggestion I’d make is to improve the soundproofing of the rooms, as we could hear quite a bit of noise from the next room. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something to consider for a better stay. Overall, I’m very satisfied and will definitely come again.

Lovely spacious hotel room in a classic boutique hotel. Impeccable service from all staff. The front bar is lovely; take advantage of the happy hour 5-7pm with two for one G&Ts mixed expertly by the experienced bar staff. Pool is small with only 6 lounges but fine for a quick dip and relax session. There is also a beauty spa on site. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is fine however some drainage issues with handbasin and water pooling on the ground from the shower. Breakfast and dinner are served upstairs and it gets quite busy! Staff do an excellent job taking care of guests. Note: there is a 24 hour laundromat a mere 70metre walk away, 25mins wash and 30mins dry! Make sure you have the right change for the token machine.
