The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel

I am saddened that I have to leave this beautiful little paradise of a hotel. It's truly been a fantastic first time experience at The Maji. Set in beautiful garden of palm trees and green vegetation, the place has great ambience. The interiors are well decorated with Lamu-style furniture. The rooms are well furnished and bathrooms are very pleasant. The Staff and their services are exceptional, and best is their al la carte food of the highest quality. But have patience for it to arrive at your table as each order is taken individually so that you get the best. My compliments to the management for maintaining such high standards. What an amazing experience. From the moment you arrive a wave of romance and relaxation takes over you. The beach is lovely - ample beach beds provide beautiful views over the Indian Ocean. The overall design is impeccable - it looks like an Italian villa. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and clean! The food is excellent. They have the same menu daily but there are a large number of choices and everything we had over 4 days was delicious. All of the staff were friendly, proactive and professional - special shout out to Zippy! We hope to be able to return soon!
