Beautifully tropical Chinese island of Hainan. And the Haitang Bay area.. hot.. and humid.. nice..
It's clean and new, so it's good for living. There are several swimming pools, but it's disappointing that there are no activities for adults other than two slides for children. The supermarket is close, so you can get a mid-sized meal at a low price.
This rating is for the Thai restaurant. Horrible experience. Servers didn’t provide extra set of plates for our 4th guest until I repeatedly asked 5 times over the course of ten minutes. Food is mediocre, chicken curry contained strong garlic, tasted chinese rather then Thai food. They had to redo the salad 3 times. Papaya was raw and sauce was waaay too spicy! At the end of the meal servers chased after us to pay the bill. Despite the bill already being paid! Absolutely ridiculous. Wait staff constantly floating around doing nothing.
