The Manna by Haus

We were attending a wedding and arrived to check in, but found a “back in 5” sign on the reception door. We waited briefly but had to leave to make it to the ceremony on time. When we returned later and got into the room, it looked like the photos at a glance but was poorly maintained. The carpet had stains, walls and doors were scratched, and the curtains were coming off the rail. The bathroom was the biggest letdown—missing grout in the shower, an orange-stained toilet seat, mismatched toiletries (no shampoo), and public restroom-style soap dispensers. The bed and pillows were below average, and the long-life milk was a letdown. The TV and other appliances were all quite dated, and the bedside lamp flickered. For the price, we expected far better upkeep and attention to detail.

BEWARE!!! Very disappointed! We booked a room on February because of our friends wedding on May. We just learned that they are not operating today. There was no communication that currently they are not operating due to a dispute. And their website is still operating and accepting booking! How could someone (owner) be not responsible enough to apologise and find a solution with the inconvenience they have caused! Where has our money gone? Surely, if the owner is sincere, the money has been refunded or an alternative accommodation has been provided.

We booked a two night stay at The Manna Executive room 12th march to 14th march 2025 for our 50th wedding anniversary . 1 hr 15 minutes before check in i received a ph call saying they could not honor our booking as there was a dispute between managment and the owner . . They did offer us alternative accommodation in a upstairs tiny appartment in The Studio . This was no good for us i struggle with steep stairs and i did wonder how my husband would get our baggage up thoses stairs . Needless to say we are so disappointed ! And i did wonder why they left it so late to contact me .
