The Manor at Abberley

Absolutely amazing place nestled in the countryside with stunning views. We didn't stay overnight but plan to do so now that we've found this gem and know it is also dog friendly. We want to come for a couple of nights later in the year, with our dogs, to take some long walks in the beautiful surroundings and then relax with good food by the fire place. The insides ambience is wonderfully done and so many appealing tables to chose from. We came for a meal out and due to the current heat, dined on their sun terrace, enjoying the views. Staff are friendly, on the ball and attentive. Their menu is small, which we prefer, and the food is absolutely amazing quality. It is not cheap of course but you get what you're paying for. This is an amazing place for a special occasion. The food was great from beginning to the end and although we rarely eat dessert, we did on this occasion and it was so good. Their homemade ice cream is the best I ever had and I love ice cream and have eaten it around the world. This one was second to none. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending a couple of nights in their lovely rooms. Great hospitality we can only recommend 👍🏻

The Manor Arms is in a beautiful location. We have often ended up there for a pint after walking over the nearby hills. Today we had Sunday lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got married at the Manor Arms 10 years ago, the food was just as amazing then. I know the restaurant has changed hands a few times over the years and we've always enjoyed coming here. The staff are wonderful, really friendly and welcoming. I have several dietary requirements which they were gladly happy to accommodate. Today we both had the pork belly which was absolutely perfect. Firstly they presented us with amuse-bouche, what a delicious little treat! Then the pork belly came with perfectly cooked vegetables and roast potatoes on the side. My husband also had cauliflower cheese, which he loved. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and served promptly, with a smile. After our wonderful meal the staff surprised us with another little treat, some beautifully hand made chocolates with 'Happy Anniversary' written in chocolate on the plate🥰🤗🤩Thanks so much for making our special day extra special!

Stumbled across this little gem by complete accident but I’m so glad I did !! Absolutely stunning scenery/views, delicious food, friendly staff and the atmosphere is heavenly. Fabulous all round. Will definitely be back (date night ready) Can’t rate rooms because I didn’t see them/stay over but if they’re anything like the rest of it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
