The Manor At Puerto Galera

Fair enough for me, if you are the type of a person who likes to be closer to the nature more in the uphill trees, different birds, love and appreciate garden with overlooking to the water I will highly recommend this place. We spend our 6 remaining days on our vacation in Mindoro. From Small Lalaguna Villas where the water just below our veranda and we both enjoy the sound of the waves, now we move here in Manor and enjoy the music of the forest. I enjoy it the most since I love trees and birds that make me feel more than homey. We got the Ocean Villa since there is a kitchen and we love to cook. Perfect to spend time with my husband and our two kids along with my sister and cousin. The staff are very helpful too.

It is june, low season, very quiet. Staff is friendly and doing their best. Room was nice and clean. Swimming pool was empty due to leakage. Bar is closed from 2pm to 5pm and no alternatives near. No beach. We had snacks at dinner time. Boy in the kitchen was cooking with cigarette in his mouth. Snacks(starters) were very bad, did not even finish half of it. The next morning half raw pork steak for breakfast so could not eat that either. Please get a proper chef to cook the food. This is supposed be a 4 star place.

Bad bad bad Customer Service!!!! We have a confirmed booking since June 27, 2014, we already have the hotel voucher but after 4 months they informed us that they were overbooked by agoda & expedia and that our rooms (2 superior rooms) were affected. We were supposed to book online before but they suggested to book directly instead and requested to pay down payment. Now they offer us a presidential suite but we need to pay for the full amount of the suite which is 7k/night, and the four of us (2 married couple) will have to stay in one room. Why do we have to suffer for their mistake? we planned this vacation to relax, all is set , we are about to fly back home (Philippines) next month and this is what we get for booking early in THE MANOR!!!! I do hope the management will investigate on this matter, very unprofessional Staff (MARIE). Even if you return the full amount we paid, I still want the Management to know on how you deal with your guests. I dont recommend this hotel for poor and unproffessional service... Will not stay in this hotel EVER!
