The Manor Country House Hotel

This is one of the most beautiful Historical Hotels I’ve seen. The staff are amazing and go above & beyond to ensure you have the best time. I came across the Hotel by chance, and wasn’t disappointed. They also have EV charging stations for TYPE 2 cars. The gardens & grounds are kept beautifully. There is a fantastic range of Room Options. The house dates back to the 13th Century and is full of Paints & period Furniture. The Huge fireplace is a feature as soon as you walk through the main doors. I hope you like my photos & review

Beautiful hotel set in its own grounds tastefully decorated with all the charm of an old building. From start to finish our trip was managed well. Easy to find and lots of parking available. Check in was simple with the host willing to meet most needs. Due to being disabled with limited mobility, we were situated in the coach house on the ground floor. The rooms in the coach house have been newly refurbished to a high standard, worthy of refined country manor, along with all the essentials you expect from a high class hotel...bathroom amenities, iron and ironing board, tea coffee making facilities etc..although a few more hangers would have been helpful, but this didn't spoil our stay. The breakfast is 50/50 with cereals etc toast, pastries and cold meats buffet style, while the hot food was cooked to order, which is great as you don't get the stale food like other places. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent. The staff are very attentive and go the extra mile to make your stay special. Overall our stay was exactly what we wanted and we would definitely stay there again in the future. Thank you. X

A truly beautiful and historic hotel. The rooms and public areas are spotless. Bathrooms new and very high specification. Gardens are beautiful and lovely tables and chairs to sit out under sun brollies. The food in the Lavender Restaurant is fantastic and that includes the waiter service breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Altogether wonderful - one of the best UK hotels I have stayed in. We will be back!!
