The Manor House Hotel and Golf Club

This was our fourth visit to the Manor House and, as with previous visits, we enjoyed a fabulous stay. Every aspect of our visit — from the service and accommodation to the grounds and food offering — was wonderful. The service is both professional and welcoming, particularly in the restaurant, where our waiter and sommelier talked us through the tasting menu while also giving us space to enjoy the delicious food and wine pairings. We particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the Italian garden, which provided a serene contrast to the bustle of Castle Combe — a real tourist trap in the summer. We love visiting, as it offers an escape from our busy lives, and we look forward to returning very soon.

Had the best time celebrating a family wedding. It's a really stunning location. The rooms are all spacious and beautifully decorated with feature beds or bathrooms, making each room different and special. The food was excellent, but you may need to remortgage to cover the drinks!
