The Manor House Hotel

We had our wedding here and it was everything we could have asked for and more. After scouting for venues we were recommended The Manor House from a couple who had gotten married there 10 years prior. When we arrived we were shown around the lovely grounds by Lindsey, the wedding coordinator, who was friendly, knowledgeable and very experienced. She helped to ease our nerves during the planning process - including on the very day! Lindsey was always only an email away and went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing but perfect. She even responded to our last-minute crises on her days off and was always so calm and collected when things seemed to be going pear-shaped (nothing was going to go wrong under her tight ship). What a superstar! Once Lindsey had finished her duties in the morning, we were left with the very capable and friendly Team led by Danni and Kosta (sorry if I have spelt your names wrong!). They were all so attentive and approachable, always making sure that we had a drink in our hands and were having the best day of our lives. The grounds are stunning and though smaller than the other venues that we visited, were actually perfect for us! There is plenty of space for beautiful wedding photos and for guests to sit and mingle (both inside and outside). We booked to stay at the Apple Cottage for the day before and on our wedding day and we were so glad we did. Located just at the bottom of the venue meant that it was the perfect location for getting ready including setting up decorations and for the Bridal Team to be getting ready. The food was absolutely lovely, from the evening meals, the wedding breakfast, and the breakfast the next day. Everything we had was of such high quality, from the service to food! We are so lucky to have found The Manor House! We could not recommend it enough for not only a place to visit and stay but for a wedding! Thank you for the most wonderful day! The Mitchells x

I've traveled to 47 countries so far, and this is the one hotel that has stood out to me the most. Not only is the property beautiful, and fully renovated, but it is beyond comfortable and accommodating. It has a restaurant, bar, library, courtyard, and rooms for events - I truly was blown away by this property; it felt like coming home every day after a long day of exploring the Cotswolds. The rooms were spacious, beautifully and interestingly decorated with helpful amenities, and again, incredibly comfortable. The cherry on top I would have to say was the staff; everyone I had the pleasure of speaking with was an absolute delight, helpful, and friendly. The staff was absolutely stellar! I actually left a pair of shoes in my room upon check out, and someone from the front desk RAN to the train station to give them to me before my train. THANK YOU! I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and courtesy throughout my stay. On top of that, they have the best cappuccinos I had in that whole town, maybe even that whole area. We stayed in the Apple cottage and it was wonderful. We changed plans to spend the day relaxing in town and in the hot tub to reenergize for more touring. The hotel staff was incredible and the food was delicious!
