The whole process went well, despite never seeing a person while we were there. The room was nice and big, and had all the expected amenities. The bathroom was shared with another room, but we knew that so it was fine. There was dedicated parking for the property which made things easy. The location is good for a walk by the water and we even saw a seal. Checkout was trivial and in less than 10 minutes we were at the ferry terminal in Scrabster. Overall a very good experience and would recommend this if you just want a good night's sleep before an early ferry.

We stayed here for proximity to the ferry, since we were making the 8:45am departure. There was no reception, but instructions for check in/out and key retrieval was easy. The room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. It was a quick walk from here to a local pub, which was seemingly the only place open at 9pm.

The room was nice and big, unfortunately we had to share the bath room and toilet outside of our room with two men, foreigners for us. For me as a woman this was a very terrible experiance and this was not marked in the „hotel“ description. This is absoletely unacceptable and for me, this high rating of 4.9 cannot be real. And it was also no hotel! Nobody was there, no reception, no breakfast, no meals. Never ever again I would chose this! Ines
