The Marlton Hotel

The Marlton Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Manhattan. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with a chic, timeless atmosphere. While the room was on the smaller side (typical of New York), it had everything I needed—luxurious details, a super comfortable bed, and a peaceful, quiet setting perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The included breakfast was a lovely bonus, making mornings easy and enjoyable. The staff stood out—young, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making me feel welcome from start to finish. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: right by the West Village, just a block from Washington Square Park for scenic walks, and with quick access to the Holland Tunnel if you’re coming in from outside the city. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, style, and a fantastic NYC location. Will definitely stay again!

Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Room was smaller than we're accustomed too but lots a quaint details. They would have changed it out for a larger one but were booked. Breakfast was superb, Anna, our waitress, was a delight...replaced an ill prepared cappuccino with one she made herself and just added to a great experience. Would stay again but in a larger room.

I've put my parents up at the Marlton twice in the last year and it's quickly become a staple for them. The rooms are VERY small (it's worth paying for a larger room if you're staying for 3+ days) but the space is used wisely. The room decor is chic and understated. The rooms have always felt clean too! The lobby is the star of the show though, it really feels like you've stumbled upon a hotel in London. The staff is great and will do their best to accommodate requests. 4/5 stars because of the price tag: you're clearly paying for the location but, quite frankly, it's steep for the square footage of private space you'll have access to.
