The Marmara Park Avenue

I loved the staff-Mike was AMAZING! This establishment was very beautiful to include our view of the city from our room! The amenities- great (gym with free weights-excellent touch…I ran out of time to utilize the spa but beautiful nonetheless). The location was close to everything. The food was great! The staff members were sweet to my children which meant a great deal us and added to the experience. Well put together, safe, secure and clean establishment. I am sure we will return HERE whenever we have a chance to revisit the city next. Thank for your role in making wonderful memories. A special thanks to the professionalism shown by Michael and his fellow staff for representing well the face of The Marmara- being greeted with such hospitality staged for a truly wonderful experience.

We loved our stay at the Marmara. First off, Mayerly at the desk was incredible- When my children asked if there was any way they could have a room with a balcony, she worked very hard to see if she could make it work- and she did! This hotel hit the perfect notes of family-friendly while still being upscale. The pool is a particular gem in Manhattan and its location on the 6 train is perfect- just one stop from Grand Central! Only less-than-stellar notes are that we asked for an extra comforter (as we were sharing beds with the kids) and got thin wool blankets instead. And a soaking tub would be nice. But the shower was excellent- we just love being able to relax in a bath. Will definitely be staying here again!

One of the best stays we’ve ever enjoyed in Manhattan! The Assistant Manager, Floyd, and Manager, Benjamin, provided a level of service that we’ve never experienced in the city…even made the Plaza (where we stayed on this same trip) seem uninspired by contrast. The photo is from their roof top terrace and bar and it offers stunning views of both the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. On the terrace level they feature a beautiful salt water pool, spa and an incredible hammam. The hotel is based out of Turkey and was my first experience of a hammam…and won’t be our last. This will be our principal hotel for New York travel moving forward. Thanks again to Floyd and Benjamin for finding us our lovely jr suite with balcony on the same day we realized the hotel we had reserved had lost their fair conditioning:(. We are forever grateful!
