The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block

This hotel has all the little touches, but what makes it extra special is the crew that works there. I have stayed a couple times and it’s nice to be welcomed back in a genuine and friendly way. Shout out to Kodiak, Sydney and Janet for having such great suggestions, helpfulness and overall vibes!

Great location and the room was very nice. However checking in was cumbersome as no one was at valet or the check in desk. We ended up self parking that was $50 vs $15 for valet. We had to call to find someone to check us in. The food court was dead and those that were open on a Friday at 4pm had zero customer service.

Extremely disappointed. For spending over $2,000 on a room, I expected a much higher standard of comfort and upkeep. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the cost. The air conditioning was a major issue, not only did it not work when we arrived, but maintenance had to come back twice to fix it. And even when it did work, it was incredibly loud, which made it hard to relax or sleep. The keypad on the door literally broke off, which didn’t exactly inspire a sense of security. On top of that, the bathroom wallpaper was ripped and peeling, a small detail, but for a high-end room, these things matter.
