The MC Autograph Collection

I had a wonderful stay at The MC Hotel, Autograph Collection! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The design of the hotel is modern yet cozy, with beautiful touches that reflect the charm of Montclair. My room was spotless, spacious, and offered a stunning view of the skyline. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar—perfect for relaxing with a cocktail while enjoying the sunset. The location is also ideal, within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and cultural spots. Overall, everything from the service to the ambiance exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Good hotel. Expensive but also high end. Great roof top with a great view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. However, I hate a sink that doesn't drain properly. The room was on the smaller size as well. Lobby bar and restaurant are good. Bar needs a better beer tap selection. Not wvery beer on tap should be a local IPA for 9 bucks. throw on a domestic as an option. Gym was small but adequate for the hotel. Location is prime. Walking distance to everything in town. Overall a nice place.

Last Tuesday we checked in for 2 nights. Upon first impression the location is amazing and the hotel seemed very nice. It had a stunning view of Manhattan. Upon further inspection of cleanliness I realized the entire wall of above the bed basically had a sheet of heavy dust. I immediately called to ask for a microfiber mop to dust the wall. A young man showed up with a tiny swiffer. I asked what they used to clean the walls with and he said that. I said I’ll figure it out myself when he offered to do it. I didn’t want dust flying all over The bed it didn’t damp dusting. There was also a coffee stain on window sill. Attention to detail was not here which is amazing due to the average cost of the hotel. I have asthma and a dust mite allergy and this hotel situation was not it. Outside of my husband and I having to clean ourselves our stay was fine but for a pricey hotel it was certainly a disappoint.
