Great location. Clean room. Most staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed buffet breakfast . Front desk staff on check out could have been more friendly and not so surly as bill fully paid and room left clean and tidy. Would stay again.

You can tell this once was a charmer. We picked up a room at a discounted price and I'm glad we did. We were on the 3rd level with a view of a long neglected balcony garden, well mainly just weeds, litter and a longstanding umbrella tree. The decor in the room was outdated at best, dark and small but reasonably clean. The buffet breakfast was very satisfying and the location of the hotel handy to everything. Once upon a time you can tell this was the place to be, I'd love to see it receive the update or restoration it's longing for.

Good: they let me check in at 7am after flight from LAX, they loaned me a electronic currency converter, the breakfast included with the room rate was very good. The lobby is fairly pretty. Bad: although the room was spacious, it seemed dirty. It had a musty smell. The bathroom was shabby and worn. The upholstery was stained. I had to pull out the night stand to plug something in and there was dust, debris and trash on the floor. The TV was miniscule and did not have CNN. The workout room does not supply towels, water cups or bottles, or sanitizing wipes. There was no lotion in the bathroom. All in all I thought it was pretty gross, I would never stay there again.
