The Mercury

Stayed at the Mercury Hotel for a long weekend and we loved our stay. The Hosts Gary and Jo were very friendly and offered plenty of suggestions for things to do and see whilst we were visiting Blackpool. The rooms were spotless, beds and pillows comfy and WiFi worked well. We even had our very own record player with a mix of Albums to suit all tastes. We were both spoiled for choice with the Complimentary breakfast and had a mixture of hot and cold both mornings. Overall a great weekend and we will be definitely returning to the Mercury Hotel. 👍

Gary and Jo are one of a kind hosts.we came to blackpool for New York for rebellion fest and were created by Gary at the door and immediately felt welcomed.we got up to our room and it was super clean,the decor was all British rock and punk memorabilia. Gary’s breakfast was better than anything we had around town and when it was time to leave he insisted on taking us to the train station..if and when we go back we will without a doubt be staying there again!

Visited overnight as we were on a theatre trip As a big queen fan it just had to be the Mercury and the “Freddie” suite Gary was away on business but he did notify us by text saying he would be absent but the room would be ready for lunch time which I thought was very professional We were met by Jo and made most welcome The hotel and room lived up to their regal connections awash with photos and memorabilia There’s even a record player and Queen vinyl top play and listen to whilst in Freddie’s “ prescence” Breakfast was excellent,hot and delicious Nothing was too much trouble for Jo and she was loyally supported by her faithful sidekick George ( a Rhodesian ridgeback) who was great company and playful with it Can’t recommend the Mercury enough and it does not disappoint Already planning a return visit and can’t wait!
