The Midland Manchester

During my visit to a business conference in Manchester, I stayed at the Midland Hotel and it was an amazing experience. The reception staff were very welcoming, greeting us with smiles and genuine courtesy. The hotel had a very inviting atmosphere. The exterior of the building looked stunning, and the overall ambiance inside was equally impressive. There’s a lovely bar and a comfortable seating area for guests and visitors, which made for a relaxing and pleasant environment. My room was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable I felt right at home. It had a modern shower and fresh towels were provided. I had a very relaxing stay and truly appreciated the comfort of the room. The only thing I didn’t like was the complimentary sparkling water in the room , I would have preferred still water instead. That said, the room overall was fantastic clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was also great, with a nice variety of options and friendly staff. The only downside for me was the absence of halal meat. However, I still enjoyed the meal and appreciated the overall presentation. I will definitely return to the Midland Hotel the next time I visit Manchester.

This was a fantastic weekend, from the moment we arrived to the hotel. Checkin was efficient and informed us of all the facilities available to us . Staff were warm and friendly, On arrival in our room we had a nice surprise of bubbly and chocolates , just divine. What a super start to our weekend. We booked the spa and were just lucky to get a slot for two . Another experience that was unbelievable. Head and neck massage and full use of the spa and of course the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The relaxing area with flavoured water was just what was needed. We had the experience of drinks and Tea in the lounge area , service was polite and warm. Our departure was equally friendly and also checked that our satisfaction with our stay. Such a Pleasant experience . We were able to leave our luggage to do last minute shopping. My only one mentioned would be head concierge who returned our luggage was not as friendly didn’t help or ask if we need a taxi just left us , A bit surprising for golden keys member , it did spoil the farewell. I have to say this was five star excellence at its best , it’s a must stay when in Manchester. Thank you team . .

Stayed as a couple in late June, over a long weekend, to visit family in Manchester. This is the second time we have stayed at the Midland and we will return. Pro - Great location. Grand entrance and friendly welcome. Terrific bar area which takes up most of the ground floor adjacent to reception desks and looks amazing. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is good and we had wide choice - (if you can't find something you like, you're looking for a reason to dislike it). Ambience and feel. Con - Slightly dated bathrooms. Shower was average, but not a problem. Overall, the hotel is a hit. It serves this magnificent city well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
