The Millstone Country Inn

I didn’t stay here but stopped in for a Sunday lunch just on a whim as I was passing. Situated in the perfect spot to relax outside in the sun with beautiful views from high above the surrounding landscape. My Sunday roast was ready surprisingly fast only waited maybe 5 or 10minutes and it was genuinely one of the nicest Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. Beef was cooked perfectly, yorkshires were crispy but not hard, veg was beautifully cooked & the potatoes were equally well done & seasoned to be flavourful but not overpowering. Dinner & Drink came to around £17.. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Stayed overnight in our campervan, free if you eat in the bar. Amazing friendly service and the food was really good, had the pies and would recommend. Land lady just took our reg number and let us run a tab all evening. Great location for a walk in the valley and a lovely view to wake up to, a proper sun trap if you get lucky as we did.

Me and my friend drove up for a night away, perfect location surrounded by great views and walks from the doorstep! The food is amazing and big portions! The lovely Claire was very welcoming and accommodating! Definitely recommend especially if you have dogs ! Was a bonus to see so many cute dogs. Thank you for a lovely stay
