Excellent hotel. Maybe not for the very tall as ceilings can be a bit low but if you're below six foot like me it's fine! Excellent location in the heart of great shopping and transport options. I have now stayed twice and we were very impressed both times.
Great location. Busy all round with shops literally next door. The city never sleeps! The hotel was clean and has everything you need. Hairdryer is pretty useless 🤣 but other than that everything was perfect. Very happy. My room view wasn't great- looked over a construction site and badly maintained buildings, but that isn't the hotel's fault. The staff were helpful even though not all of them understood English. The breakfast was AMAZING. You could not ask for more.
Amazing location, it's right upstairs from Donki grocery store which is open 24 hrs so it was really nice to be able to take the elevator directly to the store, and then directly back up to our room. I do have a few complaints with the hotel itself, there is no laundry service (no self-serve or serviced) and there are no microwaves nor safes in the hotel rooms. I feel that these aren't required but I have stayed at much cheaper hotels that do have them, and for a 5-star hotel I was a little surprised there wasn't a microwave or safe in the room. If you don't really care about those things, they did have a very nice pool and hot tub, as well as a great spa area. Breakfast and spa services didn't seem to be included with most of them rooms but they are in the building. The hotel was clean, well kept, they provide you most things you would need (no razors tho!) and are committed to staying plastic free. Although most, if not all, hotels in Hong Kong have gone plastic free. Check-out was simple and easy, we just had to drop our key card in the box and didn't have to fill our anything. I don't believe this is standard but there was a day where we asked for house keeping, and was out of the room all day, but when returning around 5pm the room hadn't been cleaned yet. The staff was friendly and kind, they were helpful and most of them spoke Cantonese and English. This is not the fault of The Mira, but do keep in mind if you get one of their city view rooms right now, there is only construction outside.
