The Modernist Athens

There is something special and very personable about staying at the Modernist. Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood centrally located in Athens and is as exactly as described. The hotel staff is very friendly, and provides excellent service. The rooms are very chic, comfortable and roomy. Start your morning off at the breakfast buffet which is nothing I have ever seen before with fresh, unique delicious offerings. Mike will happily serve you your favorite type of coffee. If you’re looking for any restaurant recommendations ask Zoe at the front desk who will always be spot on and if you are in need of a gluten free or dietary restriction restaurant recommendations Ian has a great ones. We were very sad to leave as we had appreciated the warm good mornings and the evening inquiries of how our daily adventures were. The Modernist hotel definitely impressed and surpassed our expectations in all areas as we are so used to staying at resort style hotels. This boutique style hotel was one certainly that made our trip extra memorable.

My stay at The Modernist Hotel Athens was truly memorable. The hotel itself has a stylish, contemporary vibe that I loved great attention to detail everywhere you look. But what really stood out to me were the incredible bath products. They’re simply amazing! I enjoyed them so much that I ended up buying a bar of their soap to take home with me. The breakfast at the hotel deserves a special mention as well. Everything was top shelf, with very fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was such a treat to start the day with such a delicious and thoughtfully prepared meal. All in all, I highly recommend The Modernist Hotel Athens it’s a fantastic place to stay if you appreciate modern design, great amenities, and a little bit of luxury.

What a great hotel. It is in the perfect location, just a short walk from the metro if you come from airport. The staff are all super friendly, and the hotel is stylish & great design. The breakfast was very impressive with a big variety in buffet & eggs to order. Lovely rooftop bar to watch the sunset, and as a treat they do daily wine tastings and yoga included. We will definitely return.
