I enjoyed an overnight 5-star experience in a 4-star hotel with a complimentary room upgrade , the rooms were clean, modern, and very spacious. The bathroom was absolutely lovely. The size of the bed and the coffee machine were an icing on the cake! The staff are extremely nice and proficient. Our room had all bathroom amenities like shower gel , shampoo, and conditioner. However, we did not get any bathrobes, carpet slippers, or any dental kit. The hotel itself is affordable if you book it for a couple of nights in a row and it is at a very convenient location - the DC Metro station NoMa runs right next to the exit of the hotel on the right. I would definitely recommend Hilton Honors The Morrow Hotel in Washington DC!
we stayed here for a graduation and the wait time for the room to be ready was almost an hour after the check in time. the receptionist was apologetic and accommodating. the rooms were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. our family enjoyed our time here. the food at the rooftop restaurant could be better. overall, we would stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay at The Morrow. It’s a great option for solo travelers. The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located really close to the Amtrak Union Station, which is an added convenience for Amtrak travelers. Easily accessible to the bus and the red line, allowing you to travel and explore DC effectively without being stuck mainly in downtown DC. I took one star off because if you got a room facing the NoMA train station on the red line, you can hear the rumbling and horn whistles. I recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper to avoid being woken up in the early morning during rush hour. They also provide a sound machine for those that prefer it. Another problem I have is that the shower door leaves a pretty big gap, so water does seep out when showering. However, they did offer a floor towel for that. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to those who are solo traveling and enjoy watching trains passing by the window.
