The Neela Boutique Hotel Stone Town

In the heart of the old city, Neela staff tries to fulfill every wish they think you could have. The menu list for breakfast is small but it was the best tasting breakfast I ever had (lobster and a posched egg on a brioche bun). The only critic I had was that the toilet is integrated in the room, as an European I was not used to this aspect.

The hotel is an absolute gem!!! 5 star rooms, 5 star amenities and by far the best service on this island. But I want to make a special mention on my food experience. I wasn't very hungry,so I thought I would opt for a small ans simple house salad for dinner. But oh my word,what an experience! Every bite was like a new symphony of flavours in my mouth. The attention to detail of flavours is impeccable. And this salad was anything but small and simple. And I own my own restaurant and coffee shop so I'm particularly snobbish about my one cup of coffee a day. And with out a doubt - they serve the best coffee in Stone Town...probably the whole of Tanzania. Well done Neela Hotel and staff.....I will def be back!!

The second I have stayed at the Neela and what an amazing experience. Easily the best hotel in Stone Town. The compost comfortable bed I've slept on. Superb service and awesome food especially breakfast. Love the coffee too. Try and visit the rooftop terrace at sundown. Great menu and cocktails. They arrange transfers from the airport also.
