The Neeld Arms

Just wonderful. I stopped by for one night at the last minute, whilst tired commuting from the south east to the south west. On arrival, I was greeted like an old friend, with a glass of red wine and a really caring welcome. When I mentioned wanting to have a walk in the woods in the morning, but the forecast was rather wet, I found a waterproof hat and jacket outside the door by morning! I came away from my brief visit feeling like I'd been on a retreat and will most definitely be going back for a longer stay.

Great cosy atmosphere in the studio. Julie is an excellent hostess, made us feel very welcome and even drove us to our anniversary dinner booking at the Manor House hotel and back later! Underfloor heating was lovely and warm, heated towel rail in the bathroom with proper sized toiletries and a decent shower. You are left with a huge selection of breakfast items to cook yourself (meaning no need to get out of your PJs before breakfast) so an ideal couples retreat. You can walk down to Castle Combe in less than 20 minutes down woodland footpaths alongside the golf course. Overall, a lovely and peaceful countryside retreat.

Outstanding!! When you first come down the drive to Julies beautiful property and grounds, you can feel the warmth and kindness around you. We stayed in The Studio and it was stunning. Everything of the highest quality, the decor, the bed, the kitchen appliances, provisions provided.....and the most amazing host Julie. Julie is the best host you could wish for. A truly perfect place to stay. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
