Our second visit to the brooklyn Hotel and again it was fabulous. The location is perfect, the hosts are friendly and do amazing job. Rooms are clean and presented lovely, breakfasts are really nice, only wish we could stay for a little bit longer. Will be returning for our annual trip to Blackpool

A very relaxed and enjoyable hotel. Extremely clean and nicely furnished. Simon and Richard are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Well located with all you need close by. Would not think of staying anywhere else in Blackpool and will definitely be back.

Went to Blackpool over May Bank Holiday for 2 nights and stayed at The New Brooklyn Hotel. I can't give half star therefore I decided to give 4* else it would have been 3.5*. Having said that please read full review. Location: 5*, as with most of the B&Bs and Hotels along the Promenade I do not think you can find any fault with the location. We stayed in Sea View Room#16 and didn't get disappointed. The view was truly beautiful especially the sunset. As the windows is on road side you can have some noise till late in night. The Hotel doesn't have a lift and our room was situated on 2nd floor with 2 flights of stairs. I counted there were total 39steps :) So if you find difficult to climb up and down the stairs do keep the above in mind. Service: 5*, Simon will make sure that he does whatever he can to make your stay comfortable. He is such a lovely host. I am vegetarian so didn't had much options for breakfast but he made sure that I don't feel left out and got plenty of options for breakfast. Make sure you let your preferences know in advance, preferably the night before. The tables in the dining room are set according to room numbers :) Facilities: 3.5*, I would not classify it as a proper hotel but then it is also not the typical B&B too. Simon has definitely made an excellent effort to upscale it to stand out differently from a B&B but if you think it as a hotel it falls little short on expectation. You do get towels and few biscuits on arrival in room. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner is also provided but once it is finished they won't be replenished. So make sure you do not forget to bring your own. I loved the decoration throughout. You have a bar and a good reception/lounge area to relax if you want to. Parking: 3*, Remember you will have to pay £5/day charge payable at hotel. Now you may pay more if you have to use car park for 2 days but considering a lot of hotels do not charge any parking fees + the cost of rooms is not that cheap I would have liked it to be free. Attractions: Neutral, reason being it depends where you want to go, all major attractions are at a walking distance. With pleasure beach on south side more closer, it took us 15mins at a leisurely pace. Blackpool Tower is further up the road on North Side about 1.2miles from hotel and can take anywhere between 30mins-45mins depending upon how quick/slow you walk. Overall I was happy with the stay and do not have any complaints or negative views about the hotel but I would suggest to plan in advance and you may find somewhere much cheaper and better deal. Just a food for thought, Hampton by Hilton on weekdays was cheaper than this stay that I planned over one of the busiest time of the year.
