We stayed at The New Inn for a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby. The pub is charming, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. We only had breakfast, but it was beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Coleford is a small hamlet and very peaceful. If you are visiting Devon, I recommend you visit the New Inn either to eat, or to stay.
Absolutely charming (very) old pub with very comfortable, refurbished rooms and absolutely delicious home-cooked food. Martyn and Theresa were wonderful hosts and amazing cooks. Captain the parrot is an added entertainment bonus! Will definitely visit this Devon gem on our travels again.
Quite good small pub, just outside Crediton. Good sized carpark, good well set up beer garden with good tables and chairs. Inside of pub good, with resident parrot. Food is good and service fairly fast, a little limited on menu selection.
