Great lunch with family..11 of us eating and all meals arrived together and were delicious with great portion sizes! Good selection of drinks. Lovely outside sitting area and car park..though that can get busy so may need to park on roadside. Disable access also through the car park. Great little community vibe..would like to visit again!

An Absolute Gem – The Best Pub Around! This is hands down one of the best pubs in the area — if not the best. A shining example of what a community-run pub can be, it puts many large commercial chains to shame. Other pubs could learn a thing or two from how well this place is run. The building is full of character, exactly what you’d hope for in a proper village pub — warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The staff were absolutely fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. They looked after us all evening with a smile and made us feel so welcome. The food was exceptional. The menu offered a great range of options — enough variety to suit everyone without being overwhelming. We chose a mix of tapas and starters and asked for everything to come out together, which it did perfectly. As it was a warm summer evening, we sat outside, but when it started to get a bit chilly, the staff kindly offered us a table inside that had just become available. Now that is what I call proper customer service. Can’t wait to come back. A true local treasure!

The food is amazing, portions are giant! The service is great. The beer is cold. It's a hidden gem. I absolutely recommend this place for lunch. I will come back all the way from Mexico just to have the ribs here.
