Reading through all the reviews, I feel that a lot of injustice has been done to this hotel. As the adage goes, you get what u pay for. This is certainly not a 5-star hotel but I am very pleased with my 4-night stay there. Everything from the hot water shower, air con & tv worked. I asked for a room with a balcony so I could smoke outside anytime. Some of the reviews are old so this hotel may have had an upgrade. As for the scantily clad girls outside the front of the hotel, I didn't see any except for a couple of girls dressed in everyday clothes; trying to make a living by giving massages. The hotel rents out part of the front to the massage company. Just another businessman trying to make use of the space & make a living. Maybe offering a convenient massage service for it's guests staying there. In summary, I can't fault this hotel in any way. The staff are helpful & friendly. The location is superb & it's near to all the shopping & eateries. Noise level normal for a city like Ho Chih Min but by 11pm, traffic slows down.
The hotel is old and dirty. Rooms don’t look like on the photos, they are pretty much used. A lot of dirt on the walls. And “city view” means watching the wall of the next building. To get balcony and true city view take the superior room. And door locks dont look safe, but still. The location is great, right next to the bus stops and pretty close to all city main sights.
Do not stay here !!!!!!!! Photographs on booking sites are not the same rooms. Tried to scam me at check in by saying he didn’t have change. When I said I would pay next morning he reached into his pocket and produced a wad of cash. This place is genuinely filthy. Cobwebs and bug infestations everywhere you look. Floor was sticky as it hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Thank goodness I only checked in for one night. It was the worst experience in Vietnam as every other hotel I stayed in put this place to shame. The “City view” was another building next door. I have no idea how this place is allowed to be on booking sites. Vile !!!
