The Nomad Inn Old City İstanbul

We booked two rooms apartment, big enough for us 4 adults and 2 kids. Room was clean, basic amenities provided with stove, fridge and tv. No washer machine, no elevator but that’s normal. 10 mins walk to grand bazaar, 20 mins to haghia sophia but you must go through up the hill. Workers all kind. Thank you very much 😊

The apartment is spacious, with large rooms and clean. The bed is comfortable, the furniture and equipment are very basic, just the essentials. It’s located about 500 meters from the historical center, but getting there involves a steep uphill walk. The apartment is on a narrow but very busy street, and the noise in the room facing the main road was very disturbing for us. Fortunately, after we asked, they changed our room, and the new one was much quieter. Wi-Fi works only moderately well. The staff doesn’t speak English and communicates through a translator, but they were kind and helpful. It’s a good solution if you’re not too demanding.

Huge rooms, includes living room, kitchen, and bathroom outside of the bedroom. There is a dining table and a sofa. In the kitchen there is a microwave, electric stove, electric kettle, and washing machine. The washing machine did contribute a lot to our convenience. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Grand Bazaar are roughly 20 minutes walk away. The nearest tram station is 10 minutes away, and the nearest metro station is 20 minutes away by foot. The staff were kind and helpful. We had a problem with the hot water and the wifi, and they helped us willingly. It was just annoying that the hot water and wifi problems kept happening during our stay.
