My brother and I spent 3 nights at the Notley Arms while attending g a 2 day off road motorcycling course at the Dave Thorpe Honda Adventure Centre. The pub is picturesque and comfortably furnished. The owners Simon and Caroline are both very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent. There’s a very pleasant garden with plenty of seating.Our rooms in the main building were small but comfortable.
What a great pub and place to stay over. Perfect for fossil hunting on the local beaches. The Landlord Simon is a great and friendly host. The food was amazing, so, all in all, a wonderful experience and highly recommend!
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. We couldn't afford to eat in the restaurant: not with a lemonade and a diet coke costing £9.20! £9.20 for two soft drinks: what a rip off! There's no way I'll ever visit again. No wonder the bar was quiet.
