Popped in for an early lunch about 10am. Ordered a cheese and onion panini and a gammon sandwich. Stunning food, well presented and tastes delicious. Friendly and efficient service too. Parking is scarce.
Using the cafe. Service has a low rate from three of us (two adults, one child) From our arrival. There was no greeting and when ordering felt we were inconveniencing staff. First we asked for a ploughman's Told No, too early(It was 1230). Asked for chips. Told, No, that's the end of week. Ended up with a panini and a Sausage sandwich. Two cokes and a latte for £33.50. Staff didn't want to engage and we felt we were not welcome. Maybe a bad day for the lady. Maybe put up on the board advertising the food what days they are available.
Sat for 45 minuets waiting for drinks 2 j2o and a tea cake ... asked for water in-between and it is warm food is good ... did gwt told it may be a while but think you could serve drinks first as I would have brought another one with my food
