The Oaks Waterfront

We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Eric at The Oaks Waterfront for my sister’s wedding weekend, and I can’t say enough good things. He was the bartender for our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding reception — and each event was better because of him. From the moment guests arrived, Eric made everyone feel welcome and taken care of. He remembered drink orders, offered great suggestions, and kept the atmosphere upbeat and inviting. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed being part of the celebration — he wasn’t just serving drinks, he was adding to the joy of the weekend. Eric’s son Nick was the bar back for all three events, and together they were an amazing team. The bar ran like clockwork, even during the busiest moments, and every cocktail was made with care. Both Eric and Nick worked seamlessly together, keeping everything stocked, organized, and flowing without a hitch. Guests were raving all weekend about how friendly, attentive, and efficient they were. It’s rare to find that perfect mix of skill, professionalism, and warm personality — and Eric and Nick delivered it effortlessly. They were truly a highlight of the wedding weekend, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation

We recently had our engagement at the Oaks and it was such a great experience. Stephanie helped me plan out my proposal, she was on top of everything and she also worked directly with the photographer to bring us an unforgettable evening. The level of professionalism and service was impeccable. The food was delicious, especially the chocolate creme brule. The grounds were immaculate and picturesque. We had an incredible stay. We booked the Acorn Cottage over the Memorial Day weekend. The Cottage, while not technically on the property, is located next to the resort and it's easy to walk to the resort and enjoy the amenities. The cottage itself is stunning with all the design details thought out. It's very private and perfect for a couple or pair of couples. We enjoyed the resort pool and breakfast and all was top notch.
