The Oberoi Beach Resort Sahl Hasheesh

Since this is a 5-Star Deluxe, Hotel. What more can you not expect other than a fantastic beach view (if your suite is a located there) and a suite with a private pool which means you can swim day and night literally no struggle. Literally so brilliant an hotel that is. And for it to be 20+ years and still maintaining itself and holding pretty well is just another level. Again 5-Star deluxe!! The actual pool is also pretty brilliant too and you can still memorize yourself with the sea view while you're even at the pool!! It's also quiet exceptional in size. Its depth isn't too deep but the pool is reasonably big too!! The suites are also very reasonable in size as they're very spacious while my suite only had 1 bed which definitely isn't a bad thing as you can get an extra bed of course.. it was still everything i thought it would be and even better.. you got your own private pool!! But you're gonna have to pay for it😅 The only downside is the sea not really capable for guests to swim on shore. They need experts to help give them a hand and the shore is rather rocky rather than sandy on your way to hit the sea.. but that's just about it! Onto the restaurant.. there are certain events like today was Indian food day. No comment can describe how good this was. My taste buds were having the quality of their lifetime!! The toilet seat didn't however. Oh well ..😂 Anyhow.. if you want to have a premium experience in Hurghada. Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh is definitely the way to go. You won't feel like you wasted a dime or because all what you paid for is literally what you get and even more!! Have a nice summer as always!! (You can also come in winter😊)

Fantastic hotel with fantastic service and really good food. If I could give the service six or seven stars, I would. The staff at the Oberoi seemed to go out of their way at every moment to make our stay pleasant, easy, and enjoyable without being overbearing (like happens at some places). They seemed to know exactly what we wanted! And they were flexible always. The rooms were really nice and really comfortable, and the beach was easily accessible and nicely set up. Super solid Indian and Arab restaurant menus, and a very fun show one evening with pleasant live music and some dancing. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A luxurious ambience and a great team! The small suites are lovingly furnished and clean. The staff are really friendly. Complimentary water and fruit are always available in the room. The private beach has its own coral reef for snorkeling, clean sand and comfortable loungers with plenty of space between them. Due to the rocks and coral in the water, the beach is not suitable for swimming or children. The breakfast buffet is complemented by very tasty hot local dishes. The food selection of the restaurant, with its Indian program strongly oriented towards the hotelier, is best viewed and considered before booking. You feel really safe in the complex and can relax. There are security guards, but they are very discreet. The contrast to the reality of life for the local population is very stark. Just a few meters from the cleaned private beach, there are piles of pasty rubbish and ruined buildings. A simple walk into town or to another restaurant is not possible. The fact that you explicitly do not pay tips at every corner at the Oberoi has a very relaxed effect and must be praised once again for Egypt. The hotel's motto: Heart. Felt. is perfectly implemented by the team.
