The Ocean Sands Hotel

Stayed here with family back in June and we had such a good experience we stayed on an extra night. First night we stayed in hotel. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Food in restaurant was excellent. Staff was so friendly and helpful Second night we moved into one of the apartments and the views looking out over the ocean was amazing. I'll definitely be booking the apartment again. We were all so depressed having to leave. Can't wait to go back.

We have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years and loved every minute of it. Just back from a 2 night stay it was heaven and the weather was beautiful. Food is always fabulous, all staff we have been talking to were very friendly and helpful. We go with our dog Max, he loves it as much as we do. We always get the garden room which is perfect has everything we need and want. Room was spotless couldn't ask for more. Planning our next visit already.

Without a doubt the worst hotel experience of my life. To start off there was a leak in the ceiling at the entrance to our room and when I brought it to the attention of maintenance they just threw some towels on the ground for a couple of days. The leak was coming through an emergency light. The door to the rooms was very noisily squeaky it was impossible to sleep. The rooms themselves were very grubby and we had cobwebs and several spiders living with us in the room. The bar staff couldn't have been less professional if they were on a hidden camera show. They begrudgingly prepared drinks for us and at one stage and it was seemingly too much effort to change a keg for my beer of choice. Not to mention they couldn't make an amaretto sour despite having the ingredients to do so. Seemingly if others saw that they'd probably start ordering them too. Very expensive for the level of service they provided. it's very clear to me the owner of this hotel clearly doesn't care or the management are simply incompetent. The only moment I enjoyed of our stay was the relief checking out
