The Old Inn

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here recently. There were ten of us plus a dog and nothing was too much trouble. Staff polite and friendly, food was plentiful and delicious, the big jugs of gravy were a big plus! I managed to squeeze in an apple crumble for dessert and it was gorgeous! If you’re in the area I’d recommend giving this gem of a pub a try.

Great pub we have been to many times, however it is looking for a new full time manager/tenancy and is currently being run by a relief manager. Don't expect the food offering shown on Website as there is no chef and nothing in this respect. Can't wait for it to return to it's previous standards for food, still a great place for a drink.

Really disappointed the website has not been updated to reflect no chef so no breakfast. Still being advertised as a B & B. Evening meals are not inspiring sausage & chips, scampi & chips, chips and chips. The rooms are in desperate need of some tlc too. Hopefully the pub will return to what it's meant to be with delicious breakfasts and dinner. But until then I'd give it a wide berth.
