The Old Phuket Karon Beach Resort

We absolutely loved our 7-day stay here! The location is simply incredible, offering fantastic access to all the highlights of the Karon beach area. One of the best features is the enormous garden area, where no cars are permitted. This means there's absolutely no noise, creating a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. But they have car parking , taxi entrance area separately. The views from the balcony are also breathtaking – you get a stunning beach view on one side and majestic mountains on the other! The hotel boasts all the facilities you could wish for: a well-equipped gym, table tennis, a dedicated working room, a quiet study room, a lovely restaurant, and a cozy bar. It truly felt like a dreamy honeymoon escape! Don't forget to visit their restaurant, Pasha, where guests of the hotel receive a generous 15% discount. We loved every moment!

I like this place very much, the service is very good. During the holiday, I took my daughter to relax. The staff took care of me very friendly. I recommend the serene pool. The food is delicious. The staff is very cute. The cocktails here are perfect. The price is not expensive. Both my daughter and my mother are very happy. 💚💚

We stayed at The Old Phuket in August 2025 and had a very unpleasant experience. The hotel is far from what is advertised. It is clearly old, run-down, and currently undergoing renovations, which we were never informed about beforehand. From day one, we found a pillowcase with a stain. Since we weren’t going to use it and had difficulty communicating with some staff members, we decided to ignore it. However, the stain was never cleaned during our stay, and on the day of checkout, we were forced to pay 300 THB for it. The receptionist was extremely rude, didn’t listen to us, and even threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay. They refused to let us leave the hotel until we paid — we were treated like criminals for something that wasn’t our fault. The pillowcase was dirty when we arrived. The breakfast buffet was very basic and had no gluten-free options, even though we had requested it in advance. The room air conditioning was so loud it was impossible to sleep with it on. Overall, the facilities are outdated, and the photos online are misleading. We booked this hotel through a travel agency expecting a 4-star experience. In reality, it doesn’t even deserve 2 stars. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
