Pleasantly surprised at this gem in Old Town in Wichita! We stayed in one of the King suites with a jacuzzi tub, and the room had a seating area with TV and a kitchenette. I've seen studio apartments that were smaller. The price for this room was incredibly reasonable for what we got. My only negative comment is that the breakfast is not included, but was an additional $14.95 plus tax. However, what they did offer was comparable to other mid-range to high-end hotels, so it would probably have been worth it. So if that's the worst thing I have to report, take it for what it's worth. The decor of the hotel was warm and inviting, and very clean. We wanted to stay another night, but the King suites were all booked. Definitely found our go-to lodging in Wichita!
Really nice clean hotel with lots of cool Wichita history in pictures! Beautiful clean rooms. Easy access to all things old town! We stayed here when we went to a concert at wave! Highly recommend!.. only thing. They said generally cars are safe in the parking garage located right by the hotel. Well we had someone steal the insert of our hitch for our truck. So be careful of parking.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels. This place is absolutely beautiful. Half hotel, half museum. Extremely clean. Most brand new hotels do not look or smell as fresh and clean as this one presents itself. The best hotel staff I have ever experienced. Happy and energetic. Blown away. We were truly happy with our experience and the best hotel stay we've ever had. A couple of downsides... the parking is super convenient and covered but unfortunately they don't have a way to keep the trouble out. I noticed many cars had been spray painted or scratched with something so hard it dented the metal. Luckily, our car was left untouched but if I had read the reviews about vandalism before hand, we may not have parked there. The other thing, breakfast isn't included and we didn't know that. 15 dollars per person for a very standard, if not lacking, breakfast bar. We would have went to eat somewhere else if we had known. (We used the stairs and the signs saying there is a charge are from the elevator entrance.) We overheard several conversations about not knowing there was a charge. One lady even gave her plate to her husband and refused to eat. So they wouldn't be charged for two people. But even with the minor negatives... we will definitely stay again. The Hotel and staff we encountered were fantastic.
