This is our 3rd visit to the vicarage. We always stay in room 8 opposite the magnificent church. The magical, peaceful heaven in Bridgwater. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, food delicious and reasonable. I sat in the garden admiring all the dahlias. The staff are all smiley and helpful. A special shout out to Rob, who goes above and beyond. Look forward to next time. Cathy & Terry Smith.🥰

Located just off the high street, this fabulous, quirky bar served us brilliantly on our night out in Bridgwater. We didn't eat here but instead had a mix of cocktails and ales. The decor is lovely and cosy, and the bar tender was dressed smartly and helped to alter a cocktail to suit my preferences. The toilets are lovely and well decorated, and overall everything in this place feels fancy and plush which I love. Would come here again given the opportunity and I would encourage others to come here and try the cosy vibe this bar and restaurant offers. (Also for any Potterheads, the corner we sat in felt like Umbridge's office)

My son had a holder-offer day at Exeter University and so we decided to break up the trip after 3 hours by stopping in Bridgwater, leaving just under an hour to get to the Uni the next day. The Inn is easy to get to from the M5. On arrival, all the staff were friendly and helpful and responded to everything we needed from start to finish. We chose to eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was beautifully cooked / fresh; gluten-free options available. The rooms and the showers were excellent, nicely decorated and there was a hairdryer in one of the rooms I could use. Breakfast, starting at 8.30am at the weekends, was beautifully cooked (fresh with no grease in sight), again gluten-free was effortless. There were options for cereal and extras you wouldn't get at another hotel in my opinion. The coffee was delicious! It is a gem, very reasonable priced; I wouldn't hesitate to rebook.
